New Delhi, August 15, 2026: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the admit cards for the IBPS PO Prelims 2026 examination. Candidates who applied for the Probationary Officer/Management Trainee posts under CRP PO/MT-XVI can now download their call letters from the official website – ibps.in.
The preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on August 22 and 23, 2026, across multiple centres in the country. This year’s recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 7,565 vacancies in participating public sector banks.
How to Download IBPS PO Prelims Admit Card 2026
Follow these simple steps to download your hall ticket:
Step 1. Visit the official IBPS website: www.ibps.in
Step 2. Click on the CRP-PO/MT or CRP PO/MT-XVI section on the homepage.
Step 3. Select the link for “Prelims Call Letter for IBPS CRP PO/MT CRP-XVI” or Online Preliminary Exam Call Letter.
Step 4. Enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth.
Step 5. Fill in the captcha code and click Submit/Login.
Step 6. Your admit card will appear on the screen. Download it and take a clear printout.
Candidates are advised to download the admit card well in advance and keep multiple printouts ready.
Exam Shift Timings
The preliminary exam will be conducted in four shifts each day. Exact reporting time and shift details are mentioned on the individual admit card. The general schedule is as follows:
Shift 1: Reporting around 8:00 AM | Exam: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Shift 2: Reporting around 10:30 AM | Exam: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Shift 3: Reporting around 1:00 PM | Exam: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Shift 4: Reporting around 3:30 PM | Exam: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
What Candidates Must Carry
- Printed copy of the admit card (colour or black-and-white)
- Original valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport, Driving Licence, etc.)
- One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the application)
Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and any electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the examination centre. Biometric verification may also be conducted.
Important Instructions
The admit card contains crucial details such as the candidate’s name, photograph, signature, exam date, shift, reporting time, and complete address of the examination centre. Candidates must carefully check all particulars and report any discrepancy immediately through the official channels.
IBPS has also released the Information Handout for the preliminary examination, which candidates should download and read thoroughly.
Note: The admit card can be downloaded till the examination dates, but aspirants are strongly advised not to wait until the last moment to avoid technical issues.
